50 million investment volume, 2 years construction time, 11,000 m² total area and ultra-modern figurehead of Baden-Württemberg's heart centers. The new building for cardiac and vascular surgery at the University Heart Center Bad Krozingen was inaugurated on October 22, 2015.
Five new operating theaters, including a state-of-the-art hybrid operating room, 20 intensive care beds and 40 normal beds, were built in the new building on an area of 11,000 square meters. The clinic speaks of seven floors of high-performance medicine for people.
Adequate lighting should of course not be missing wherever such ultra-modern technology finds its way. As in the 5th construction phase, hatec Lichttechnik once again acted as a project partner for lighting.
LED installation ducts were supplied in all corridors and stairwells and operating theaters over a length of 1000m. A functional and discreet moving light band accompanies nurses and doctors alike through the new building. The aluminum profile channel with opal diffuser is equipped with a linear LED with light color 4000 ° K and light output approx. 3000lm / m and 21W / m.
The hybrid OR is equipped with an RGB light channel. The aim of this installation is to provide the patient with supportive color therapy during the surgical procedures. By selecting different color scenes, different-colored light can ensure optimized operating conditions for doctor and patient.
